Jul. 5th, 2010 01:44 pmAhahaha, I have a 1,0 in French. *wiggles* OK, it wasn't that hard, but still. It's a nice push in motivation. And there's one exam off the list, still 4 more to go.
Tag 05 – Ein Buch, das du immer und immer wieder lesen könntest / A book you you could read again and again
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
On one level this work is the story of an airman's discovery of a small boy from another planet in the desert and his stories of intergalactic travel, and on the other hand it is a thought-provoking allegory of the human condition.
To avoid answering half of the questions of this meme with "Harry Potter" (because I totally could and it wouldn't be a lie), I picked "The Little Prince". I discovered this book for myself only two years ago, because I finally wanted to know what this was all about. I adored it. And with every read, I adore it a little bit more. It's the kind of book I never get fed up with and that still makes me teary-eyed on certain scenes. A simple and short, but truly beautiful read.

"Goodbye, said the fox. "And now here is my secret, a very simple secret.
It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye."
