Am I the only one who doesn't seem to get any notifications anymore? And is having lots of internal server error messages when sending off messages/comments/etc.?

My paid account expired yesterday, but right now I'm really wondering if I should renew it.

Avengers: avenging angels concept
The Avengers as angels. Seriously, the art is gorgeous and hits all my AU/crossover buttons (and yes, I still need to read that fic that was inspired by this fanart.) PS: There is more angels!art in the artist's gallery, and also other art for the Avengers and various other fandoms. Seriously, it's amazing!

So I went to this new toy store in town today and found those very cool Iron Man and Captain America action figures from Lego. Then I looked onto the back description and almost squealed, because: if you have both figures you can totally swap their gear and mash them up like some sort of Iron Patriot Transformer Power Ranger ... thing.

Also, listening to the Twilight soundtrack gave me sudden Civil War feels, because Decode by Paramore? Yeah. (How this song ended up on the Twilight soundtrack, I will never know. I mean, it sums Bella/Edward up perfectly, as it: it's a completely fucked-up relationship, but somehow I doubt that's the intent they had with it.)

I have no idea how far any of these are just rumours, but then Deadpool was named in line with Winter Soldier, which is pretty much already confirmed in everything, so there's a good chance it's actuallly true? Let's hope for the best. Either way, there's a lot to look forward to in the next couple of years. I still don't know how I ended up in comic fandom, but I sure as hell like it here.

Guess who bought the Avengers bluray today and is going to get drunk tipsy tonight while rewatching the most perfect superhero movie in the history of superhero movies and screaming and flailing at her TV?



ETA: Watching the Avengers makes me so happy. I think this will forever be my comfort blanket. Whenever I watch it, everything seems so much better afterwards.
