In other news: yesterday, there was a beautiful, beautiful fanmade Supernatural song named "Mary's Lullaby" on my Tumblr dash and I instantly fell in love with it. The artist made a bunch more SPN songs, all of them very beautiful in both melody and lyrics. Especially the lyrics really are a punch to the gut sometimes and I listened to the songs at work, trying not to look like someone killed my imaginary puppy.
He was the best, he was the best of anyone | and now he’s gone | and I’m supposed to just forget him | and carry on
ALL MY CREYS.
So consider this a rec from me and check out her songs. Do it, you know you want to! My favourites so far are Mary's Lullaby, I'm okay (Sam's song), You Were The Best (Dean’s Lament) and Everybody leaves.

What I’m saying is that superhero comics are not for girls, because they are sexist.
Read this. It's a great, well thought-out piece of meta about sexism in comics - although it's also a wistful declaration of love for a thing that doesn't love you back.
Also, I recently saw The Bournce Legacy and thought that Aaron Cross/Eric Byer would make a great ship, which made me look for fic, which then led me to Bourne/Avengers crossovers (because of reasons), which finally led me to Clint-fic.
( So, basically, this is just a bunch of fics about Jeremy Renner being awesome. )

3ngel just posted the most beautiful piece of character meta I have probably ever read:Warum ich Captain America liebe (in German, spoilers for Captain America and The Avengers)
In which she explains why Steve isn't the goodie-two-shoes, not only, but actually a character with flaws and doubts and fears. Honestly, read it, it gave me all the Steve feels in the world. <3
