I love the fun and light-heartedness about the Avengers movieverse fics, mostly even prefer them, but comicverse fics, especially when they're about Civil War, always seem a little more grown-up, raw and serious. And I love that too, because, HEY, ANGST.

Admittedly, I'm still not through with even half of the Civil War comics, but I've got a fairly good idea of what happens through summaries and fanfic. And I WILL still read Civil War, because it's one big Steve/Tony angst fest. *sighs happily* (Oh my god, I ended up in comic fandom, however did THAT happen?!)

Anyhow, have some fic recs + one beautiful fanvid rec - beware the spoilers, if you don't know anything about Civil War and want to keep it that way. The summaries give away pretty much all of it.

Also, I don't know if it's just me, but I can't help seeing ships in every Sutcliff book I've read so far. First Marcus and Esca, then Flavius and Justin. I'm currently reading the Lantern Bearers and all I could think was "Ah, so it's incest this time." *facepalms* (Although my slash-dar goes off at Aquila/Ambrosius, but I'll have to read more to be sure of that.) In case anyone is wondering: no, the books are really good and worth reading even without shipping, fandom has just ruined me forever.

On the off chance someone's interested: I wrote stuff. Ultraverse part 6 and drabbles (including The Eagle of the Ninth, The Silver Branch, Football RPS, Tatum/Bell RPS and Glee). It's not beta-ed and raw and short (I seem to have lost the will and/or ability to write more than 2 pages for a fic), but it's writing and I'm glad I still managed to put something together.

I just saw "A Very Glee Christmas" and it's the most adorable thing ever. Kurt and Blaine killed me with teh cute, I want to cuddle Brittany and Beiste rocks my world. Just sayin'. Have some "Baby It's Cold Outside" (OMFGsocute):



I don't care whether Kurt and Blaine will be boyfriends or just bffs, but all the flirting and being adorable is highly approvable. :D

Season 2 of Glee starts in about two weeks and I'm already so excited for it. I can't wait to have my weekly dose of musical-crack back again! The preview looks like fun. :D

• Holy fucking shit Germany. 4-0? 4-0?!?! Just ... wow. And that was some beautiful football there, my dear Mannschaft. If you hadn't already convinced me, this would've been the match to do so. I'm still so fucking nervous about the Spain match, though, I don't even know.
