ayascytheLast footie matchday, season 09/10 over and done. Since everyone has already done their recap, I figure I can put in my two cents about this season. Well, I have to admit, I'm relieved it's over. I mostly didn't care that much. I forgot to follow the 1. Liga, the 2. Liga wasn't much better and the KSC sucked, but I knew they wouldn't suck enough to descend another time - yet. So it was all a little ... passionless. But the team has potential and the few good matches I saw reminded me of why I loved football in the first place.
Blum, Miller and Stindl are leaving. Now, Blum I can't say much about, but Stindl was one of the few players who knew how to shoot at the goal and Miller. Well. He's been through it all, ascent, 1. Liga, descent ... he's one of the few remaining and it's sad to see him go. :( Good luck, Killer Miller.
Now, let's keep our fingers crossed that Timo Staffeldt will renew his contract. Also Basti Langkamp. Can't break up my brothers-OTP before I've written some fic about them, now can they? ;)
In other news, I saw Iron Man 2 tonight and really liked it. Tony Stark, you cocky magnificent bastard. <3 And I have a weird craving to read a graphic novel/comic lately. I almost ordered one tonight, but then got stuck on the choice of either Watchmen or the Sandman series and hell, anyone who knows me knows I suck at decisions. Sandman sounds like the coolest thing ever, but I don't have the money to buy another 9 books, if I like it. So Watchmen would be reasonable. But ... Sandman. And then I'm stuck in a loop. Suggestions?
