Book and movie really are different - but they both work in their own way and are very enjoyable. Personally, I love the twist the movie did, but I'll gladly take both verses to play with. They do end up as a happy couple at the end of the movie (at least in my eyes ;)), so there's still that loving and trusting aspect. :)
