Being the last one to leave the office is pretty much one of the most depressing things I know ... That being said, I hate taking over for co-workers on vacation. Meh.
Also, uhm, whoever sent me that anonymous glass heart - thanks? I have really no idea who it was, but it brightened my day a little.
I'm experiencing very odd things concerning my writing lately. Odd as in: I haven't written like that since before I got into football fandom and started minimizing my work to a point where I'd sit down with the thought of writing something intentionally short. (I'd gotten so lazy, unsuccessful and averse to writing that just the thought of writing more than a drabble made me give up.) Which isn't an entirely bad habit - I started putting as much content into as few words as I could.
But now I'm back to that habit of thinking "Oh, let's just write that one paragraph and change the scene" - and then one paragraph becomes half a page, one page, two pages ... Suddenly you're looking at your document, wonder "when and how did that happen?" and still need more words to convey what you want to. It's like word vomit. While I'm still not quite sure, whether to consider this a good thing or not, I'm kind of enjoying it nonetheless.
