ayascythe | Teen Wolf 2.01

Just a quick write down of thoughts, because apparently, watching Teen Wolf makes me talk about my feelings or something.

So can we please talk about how precious Derek is at trying to protect Scott and win him for his pack? That scene in the woods where Derek is holding Scott pressed up to him while they watch the Omega get killed? That made me start shipping them a little. Like, Derek actually kind of likes Scott and really just wants to form his own pack ~~a new family~~ and he's really doing his best (which isn't good enough). Meanwhile Scott has only eyes for Allison and doesn't want to have anything to do with Derek. I think those two could have so much more shipping potential (mentor/pupil dynamic? I thought that was popular!) if Scott would just get his head out of his ass and start being friendlier to Derek. Or, you know, at least talk to him. Since he's literally the only one who knows about werewolf stuff. I mean, Derek's being obviously awkward and socially inept, but he's trying to help Scott and it's the thought that counts.

So I was starting to ship Derek/Scott just a little and then Derek and Stiles in the car happened. I'm sorry, nothing will ever be as funny as those two in the same room. I laughed so hard, especially when Derek tried to charm that police woman. Also, I really like Derek's voice. A pity he talks so little.

I like it when Allison goes all Katniss. But then, that's because I think archery is sexy on anyone.

Lydia is fucking awesome. Period.
