I have teh Internetz again. Yay! (Honestly, Telekom ... a stronghold of chaos and incompetence.)
Soooo, what's new? I just realised how freaking much I actually still have to do, especially since next week there will be a Big Important Presentation and then, in only a few weeks, examinations! *freaks out* How did that happen? Again? Why am I always surprised at how little time there's actually left? *rolls eyes* Anyhow, I really need to get working from now on.
Oh, and anyone interested in some pictures of the KSC doing training in Belek? There are some nice pics in this gallery, although no interesting shots of anyone in particular. Meh.
Also, since I had no internet and obviously wasn't working much - with what did I waste my entire time? Well, first of all, I finished Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell, which was awesome. I still think the pacing and entire chapters dedicated to unimportant side-characters were pretty exasperating, but the witty, charming and so very British writing made up a lot for it. Also, the great story that came to a wonderful ending. I won't say much about it, but if you bring some patience, a lot of time and a pot of hot tea with you, the book will make it worthwhile.
And then there was Dragon Age: Origins. ( A lot of rambling and swooning, in which Tess goes a little crazy over a game and admits that she cried like a baby because of it. )
Also, this is totally my new favourite song: This is war, 30 Seconds to Mars, the ending song to Dragon Age.

Dec. 13th, 2009 08:22 pmSo ... I probably don't need to mention that the KSC lost this weekend - of course. I can't even bring up any frustration, because I hardly care anymore. I'm trying to keep up the love and sympathy, but with almost the entire old team gone and no success at all ... it's hard. Very hard. I don't know. Football just annoys me, the thought of the players that left depresses me and there's not even anyone left to fangirl except for the Langkamps (who are currently not playing) and the Capos (and how nuts is that?).
Luckily, I'm still occupied with wallowing in the epic awesomeness that is Glee and infecting other people with it ("other people" being
louphoenix ;)). It puts me into a great mood, it's addictive and the music is so good. There is so much chemistry that I'm really undecided about who to ship and create weird OT3 and OT4 and orgies in my mind. Also: Puck. <3 I just love it.
In other news, I'm currently playing "Dragon Age: Origins" on PS3 which is a great videogame RPG. It's been a long while since a computer game had me hooked that much, but the interaction and the characters are really good. I'm really excited what's going to happen next (and if my character will be able to seduce Alistair ... and Leliana ... and Morrigan. XD) Morrigan is such a coolbitch witch. Also: prrrretty outfit. *__* If I still visited any conventions I'd totally wanna cosplay this. (ETA: Omg, there's a fandom with fanfic. Not that I should be surprised. And I cannot read anything, because I'm not through with the game yet. I'm already spoilered as it is.)
PS: I still need presents for my parents. Argh. *pulls at hair*

Sep. 24th, 2009 10:07 pmBecause I'm awake, because I'm producing icons like crazy and because
beautifuljinx asked for some: a batch of icons of Germany's women's national squad. <333

For
beautifuljinx and everyone else who thinks these ladies rock. Snag 'em, don't hotlink, credit's not necessary, but nice. :)
( Icons! )
And because
sweetestremedy wanted some icons of Linda Bresonik and Simone Laudehr ...

This morning on the radio ...
Sep. 11th, 2009 07:08 amOur German football girls had a match yesterday - I had no idea. (Which is not something out of the ordinary. I never have any idea about who plays.) Anyhow, one of the players was interviewed and a part of the interview was aired on the radio this morning:
"Wir haben gesungen und getrunken und gefeiert, die Trainer (Amk.: ? kann mich nicht mehr genau erinnern, wen) unter die Dusche gestellt und all die Dinge getan, die der liebe Gott uns verboten hat."
"We sang and drank and partied, put the trainers (Note: ? can't remember who exactly she was talking about) under the shower and did everything the dear Lord forbid us."
Uh. Alright. I hope they had fun doing that. *giggles*

1860 München - KSC
Aug. 24th, 2009 08:33 pm1-0 I was about to say how crazy this team drives me and how resignated I have become about any sort of loss, until ...
1-1 WTF. A goal. For US. O_O *stunned*
Dear commentator, stop rubbing into our faces which players left our team. We know what and who we lost. Thank you.
I'm sure I died a little during this penalty ... *pulls at hair*
(And I just realised that Timo Staffeldt is playing. Wow.)
1-2 And that would be - another goal?! O_O
1-3 And ANOTHER ONE. ASDLFAJSDFLSDF. (And there was brother!cuddling!)

The shit hit the fan
Aug. 19th, 2009 09:20 pm... as they say. Or: Ede Becker got fired. A bit surprising to me, to be honest. I didn't expect it to be so soon. I've heard of four alternatives of which I only know two, but none of them sound very promising. Yay! [/snerk]
However, since we now lost our coach as well, let's have a look at the transfer list I was masochistically keeping during the last few weeks. For those of you who are just as masochistic, those who are interested, those who want to glee ... this is the mess that is currently the personnel situation at the KSC.
( Those who left )
( Those who went off on loan )
( Those who renewed their contract )
( Those who are new )

- We're going to have brothers next season: Die Langkamps sind vereint / The Langkamps are reunited. (>>Kicker.de) Sebastian Langkamp's older brother will join the KSC for two years. In a long list of shitty transfer news, this one might actually be kind of squee-worthy. (I mean, brothers.)
- Went to see Transformers RotF again yesterday. I could watch this over and over and over and over again. *is so in love* And I so cannot get over Lennox/Prime. Comradeship, friendship, love - whatever it is they're sharing, I needto write fic about this.
- Funny: Die witzigsten Klubnamen (>>bluewin.ch)

KSC - Hannover 96 2:3
May. 13th, 2009 07:32 pmYou know, I can be cynical as much as I want and pretend like hell that I don't care ... but matches like yesterday hit me like a fist in my guts and tell me: you do care, you still do. When your team loses a 2:0 lead and then the match - that's bitter. But when almost the entire stadium starts booing and calls your team assholes - that hurts. Even more so, when you know that they somehow deserved it.
Goodbye Bundesliga. Goodbye pretty much every good player we've got. That's gonna be a start from scratch again.
Also, I verified my theory that I can only write in misery and anger once again and produced 2,1 pages of handwritten fanfic on my way back home. Eggi/Maik fic is to be posted laterthis evening.

RPG today:
Group: *on a ship, under deck, in front of a huge, solid door with three locks*
Me: Do you have something thin and long I can pick the locks with?
Dwarf: I'll give her my fork!
Everyone: Wtf? *bursts into laughter*
In other news: congrats to Werder! I didn't watch it, but it seems to have been an exciting match.
Now let's cross our fingers for the finale! :D

Maik trainiert wieder!
XD

... KSC,
I'd like to write down a disappointed rant against you and this fail called derby, but the truth is: there is nothing left to say. Nothing except for maybe this:
Des is bitter, des tut weh,
des haut di z'ruck, oje!
... Timo Hildebrand,
What were you doing at the Wildpark? Not that I mind, just being curious, you know. It doesn't happen everyday that a rather prominent person simply passes me by in broad daylight. (I have to admit: I wouldn't even have noticed him weren't it for
louphoenix.)
PS: You do look kind of ... not so great IRL. And your hair is horrible.
... throat,
Why are you hurting? Really, I didn't scream that much today. (There was no reason to.)

KSC - Bayern München 0:1
Oct. 19th, 2008 09:25 am"Wenn wir wollen, kaufen wir euch auch!"
"If we want to, then we'll buy you, too!"
That's what a bunch of idiotic Bayern fans chanted on our way home in the train. Thanks, guys. It made the lost game that much better. [/sarcasm] Honestly, we really could've made it, we were actually quite good. It at least should've been a draw, but noooo. Of course, there had to be a last-minute-goal (87.). It's just always the same. *sighs*
And Hoffenheim won 5:2. I think I might vomit.

Aug. 30th, 2008 03:14 pmOder: Manche Flüche lassen sich einfach nicht brechen. Wie versprochen ein Spielbericht für
louphoenix.
( Meh. )
So. Und jetzt geh ich mich ausruhen, weil heute Abend geht's gleich weiter mit Party.

Aug. 29th, 2008 08:49 amFor my iron deficiency finally to be gone, so I can donate blood again later.
For everything working out fine, when we want to get into the stadium.
For Mr. Antichrist of Football to break his curse, at last, because I don't want to see the KSC lose against Köln, thank you very much. (But I'm mentally prepared for a 1-2 loss, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise. XD)
ETA: Two out of three. Oh, well. I guess you can't have everything, right?

Germany - Spain.
Jun. 29th, 2008 11:42 pmThings to be mentioned:
- Spain deserved it. They really did. And that's what probably annoyed me the most. Most of the time, Germany just didn't fight.
- Lehmann was/is my fucking hero. Without him, the score probably would've looked something like 4-0. Or even worse.
- I think I might develop a liking for Torres. He played great football. And looks cute.
- So did Casillas. ♥
- I'll never watch football with Mr. Football Antichrist again. EVER. ;P
- Did I mention that Lehmann is my hero? He was, like, the only German actually playing football. Good football, nonetheless.
- Btw, what's up with that glorification of Ballack? He may be our captain, but he is still a player like any other. *rolls eyes*
- I'll still write that damn fic. Just so you know. *huffs*
- VIZEMEISTER!!!
All in all, I can say I'm not all that upset about the lost match, although I do feel very, very sorry for Jens. He looked so incredibly sad. :((( It was quite probably his last chance to win an international tournament and now ... *sighs*
