Although, looking at it, he's really the only one who could have gone. That's how I see it, too. He probably thinks he can spare anybody the most trouble, if he goes and somehow he's right. On the other hand, it's much more tragic, of course. ;) I really like Alexis and Ethan and I guess some more plotbunnies will be jumping me before I let this rest.
