Drifting somewhere in the vast

My current emotional status: impatient. Monday, ergo: HP 7.1, can't come fast enough. Also slightly anxious and chaotic. My mind is all over the place, because there are various things and projects I'm involved in and then there's the bachelor thesis.

 

3319 / 15000 words. 22% done!

My current NaNo-status. I don't think I'm going to make the full amount I set myself as a goal, but maybe two thirds. Which is okay, I guess? *sighs* At least I have some social media literature now.

My current fandom-status: I saw Glee (this morning, stuffed into the time between getting up and going to work, because I don't have the time otherwise), yes, but I don't have much to say about it either way. I'm not a big fan of Gwyneth Paltrow, because I think she's a boring actress, but she was alright. I just wished the kids had sung more and not just her and Mr. Shue.

... I'm sorry this journal has become even more uninteresting than before. I'll try to cut down the whining, but I guess I need a place where I can post my progress.

Each time I watch the Deathly Hallows trailer I get those goddamn goosebumps and the picture of burning!Hogwarts tugs at my heartstrings. It's ridiculous. The movie's probably not even that good, but just the fact that it's out in a few weeks makes me go "Gah!", because it'll be one of the last big events in the HP fandom. Before, you could always say "there'll still be the movies", but now? *sighs* Oh HP fandom, why am I so overly attached to you?

It's November and that means autumn pre-Christmas time lots of tea and dreamy times with fantasy books NaNoWriMo! I started writing a chapter for my bachelor thesis this week and am already behind my actual schedule, because I find so little time to write during work. Also, I'm only writing crap. Meh.

 

860 / 15000 words. 6% done!
(This is only the estimated word count for this month, I'll probably need just as much for the second half.)

Which reminds me ... *tries to write a few more paragraphs*

Still on hiatus, but I just wanted to drop a few news here:

1. I'm finished with my NaNo-monster and it's up to ~10200 words now. *mind boggles* Now I just have to edit the entire thing, because some of the writing is just abysmal.

2. I saw Dr. Parnassus in a sneak preview yesterday. Squee. Great movie, crazy and flashy like an LSD trip, but also a modern fairy tale. Absolutely worth watching. (Also: Heath Ledger. <3)

3. Hopefully tomorrow internet again.

Somehow, my word count - total as well as current - seems to develop a life of its own. O_o But I'm almost there ... *wibbles*

3091 / 6500 words. 48% done!

Just for myself. Maybe I'll be able to do it in time (meaning till the end of November). ^^
