ayascytheIt's amazing how rapidly fast Max Adler/Dave Karofsky played himself into my Top 5 of Favourite Glee Characters with just about 5 minutes screentime in the last episode. I keep watching That Scene, and damn, it never gets old. The pain. The anger. The confusion. The frustration and fear bubbling so close to the surface of his emotions a few seconds before Karofsky leans in to kiss Kurt. The slight change in the tone of his voice when Kurt says "you're not my type". It's played out so well, so perfectly, and it hurts in all the right ways to watch this.
My angst-bar explodes from just those two minutes and I so do hope they will explore this storyline further. I want to know more about Karofsky. (Although I have already this picture in my head: of a macho dad who thinks crying boys are fags, of a mum who's too weak to stand up and doesn't know any better, of football friends who do homophobic jokes for a laugh all the time.) I want the world to know more about Karofsky, because this is not just for my personal craving of angsting fucked-up characters, but because this is real and happens all the time.
My NaNo/bachelor-count so far:
2868 / 15000 words. 19% done!
Which is far less than I should have at his point, but I lack decent literature and even more decent time to actually write. :(
