So I was watching the match via livestream yesterday, right? Well, by the end of the match pretty much everyone of the supposed football haters were sitting around me and kept giving me their two cents about the match. Suddenly, everyone was highly informed about the Mannschaft. Lol. "BAH, stupid football" my ass. (And then we got nearly blown away and drowned by a thunderstorm.)
ANYWAY, I'm so glad we at least made third place (again). Thank you guys, you were fantastic.

Die Ducktales - Der kleine Kobold / The Ducktales - The little Leprechaun
One day, Scrooge McDuck and his great-nephews meet the little leprechaun Farry O'Darry who takes them to his king's castle.
I can't remember half of my childhood, let alone the first book I ever read, so I'll have to settle for one of the earliest books I ever read (and can remember). The book has a spectacular total of 6 pages. XD

Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett
They say there are only two things you can count on ... But that was before DEATH started pondering the existential. Of course, the last thing anyone needs is a squeamish Grim Reaper and soon his Discworld bosses have sent him off with best wishes and a well-earned gold watch. Now DEATH is having the time of his life, finding greener pastures where he can put his scythe to a whole new use.
I could name pretty much every Pratchett novel I've read so far, but I have a very soft spot for this one in particular. It was the novel that introduced me to DEATH who became my favourite Discworld character in the blink of an eye. It also has RAT DEATH which is almost equally awesome. And then there's that epic scene in which DEATH introduces himself as Bill Sky- uh, Door. XD It has me laughing each time.

Dragon Fire by Wolfgang & Heike Hohlbein
Behind a waterfall, Chris discovers a bronze gate. After he steps through it, he finds himself in the mysterious Land of the Faeries that is being threatened by a hostile people. And he discovers he was called to save this world: he's supposed to wake the powerful dragon sleeping in the north. However, the dragon turns out to be a deadly threat itself ...
(Crappy summary translation is crappy and was done by myself.)
This book is representative for every Hohlbein book I've ever read in the past. And I have read a lot of them. Once you've reached the 10th book or so, you find that basic ideas strangely keep repeating themselves, over and over and over again. After a while, you also find that the writing style is, frankly, exaggerated rubbish.
Hohlbein's earlier fantasy works in collaboration with his wife (I have mostly read their fantasy stuff, Hohlbein's solo novels were even more terrible, because he always tried being ~dark and edgy~) were quite okay and I remember "Märchenmond" as a book I'd probably still read today. Over time, however, the books got worse and worse. Hohlbein stands for everything I despise in authours: he churns out novel after novel with lacking quality, recycles each and every of his old ideas and gradually became a trash producing fantasy author who has still way too many people kissing his ass.
