Ok, so... I just saw this one fandomsecret about the movie and WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME JUST HOW GORGEOUS PAUL BETTANY LOOKS IN THIS FILM?
Err, sorry, I mean, I should probably go and watch it. I faintly remember reading the first book but don't really recall much, sadly.
(Also, as for books with characters coming alive, people travelling into books and all that, have you read any of Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next novels? It's slightly weirder than Inkheart but it's got tons of literary allusions and all that and I thought you might like the novels.)
