WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME JUST HOW GORGEOUS PAUL BETTANY LOOKS IN THIS FILM? BECAUSE HE ALWAYS DOES, THAT'S WHY. :D No, seriously, I don't even like longer hair but he pulls it off so well and then there's that scene where he's doing firetricks half-naked ... I kind of zoned out just by looking at it.
So, yes, you should watch it! It's not exactly a masterpiece, but it's lovely, if you can look at it with your inner child and BOOKS and MAGIC and well, Paul Bettany.
have you read any of Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next novels? I haven't heard of them before but the premise sounds great! *puts it immediately on her Amazon wishlist*
