My life & Teen Wolf

Me, during the past week, from 8 AM to 7.30 PM:

Me, the remaining few hours afterwards:

Bear with me, one more day and it'll be weekend. Meanwhile, let me talk a little bit about Teen Wolf since I managed to finally watch the last couple of episodes tonight. In bullet points, because, no, coherence is not my strong point atm.
- the plot was a lot better than in season 1, but remains a bit silly and a lot predictable (haha, I'm one to talk; thousands of gifsets and spoilers on Tumblr and I still didn't figure out who controlled the kanima until they actually showed it)
- the plot seems to remain silly for the next season, because A PACK OF ALPHA WEREWOLVES, seriously, I can't
- a comparison: people I cared about in season 1: Stiles, Derek, Lydia; people I cared about in S2: Stiles, Derek, Lydia. But Erica, Isaac, Jackson and Peter Hale have grown on me. I'd love to say the same about Boyd, but he gets even less screentime than Isaac. Why, show, why? Oh, and the vetenarian is pretty cool, too.
- LYDIA MARTIN, Y'ALL. EVERYONE ELSE CAN GO HOME.
- ALSO: THE STILINSKIS. adfkjalfjsdkljfljsdf.
- while the plot is really simple, I do enjoy the cinematography and the staging of some of the scences. It may have something to do that it's an MTV show, but there's an artistic, kind of music-clip-ish streak to them, like the scene in episode 11, that moment when the match is about to end and everything is in slow-motion and the music and everything? Very cool. Music clip.
- Allison and Scott continue to bore me to tears, although Scott became marginally more interesting after he started bonding with Isaac; I may ship them a little
- I actually didn't get sucked into the Teen Wolf fandom, like many other people seem to have after watching S2. I will read fanfic, though
ETA: WHERE IS THE GODDAMN COACH FINNSTOCK/GREENBERG FIC WITH GREENBERG AS A FIGMENT OF FINNSTOCK'S IMAGINATION PLS.
Jeff Davis: “And now there’s the mention of Greenberg. And I remember you coming up to me and saying ‘which one is Greenberg?’ And me saying ‘that’s the point, there is no Greenberg.’”
Toby Wilkins: ”Greenberg is an unseen character.”
Jeff Davis: ”And may actually be a figment of Coach’s imagination.”
OR HE COULD BE LIKE A GHOST. A GHOST MAKES SENSE RIGHT. IDAF I WANT THIS
ETA2: I just LOVE the intro, okay. I could watch it all day.
I'm probably forgetting something, but for now that's it.

Date: 2012-09-21 07:14 pm (UTC)and YES you finally catched up with Teen Wolf :D Don't worry about not really being in the fandom. I'm not in it either. Not really. But I realised that just reading fanfiction and watching stuff on tumblr is quite enough :D
I didn't think the plot was silly or predictable but well... that might be me. It's easy to make me happy and I don't see obvious stuff anywhere.
and you're right, Boyd didn't get enough screen time :( and that's just because he's not going to school anymore
(BUT ERICA AND ISAAC AND YES TO EVERYTHING ELSE)
And Finnstock/Greenberg is just GOLD. and I like the idea of Greenberg being a Ghost :D
what do you think of Allison? Like, when Gerard manipulated her and she turned into a weird Hawkeye?
(and let me guess you still don't like Chris Argent? xD)

Date: 2012-09-22 11:03 pm (UTC)I don't know what it is with Finstock and that comment about Greenberg being a figment of his imagination but I can't let it go. I really, really need it in my life.
Huh, Allison. Good question. Personally, I don't like it when people suddenly turn completely badass (yes, she was always good with a bow, but what's the bullshit with the knives?). And I didn't like how she went on this personal vendetta, but then, she was being manipulated by Gerard AND her mother just died, so the blame isn't entirely on her.
(Oh, he's okay. ;P He's starting to grow on me, too.)
