Well, my character was mostly cool with it and a little curious about him, but player!me was pretty excited. Like: omg, that is Nightwing, why is my character only 17 and already has a crush on a fellow student I want to flirt with him omg that is Nightwing in the flesh and he's so cool ...
... AND THEN HE PRAISED MY CHARACTER AND ALL I THOUGHT WAS CAN I BE YOUR SIDEKICK PLEASE.
Now he's joined our group to support us and help fighting back the chaos that has broken out in NYC. Ahahaha, but maybe I should start at the beginning, right?
A short summary of what has happened so far: there was a large fire in a building of a energy corporation named Enerdome. Our superhero characters all went there to help and then got involved in a fight with a gigantic robot. Then there was a bank robbery, which wasn't really a bank robbery, and various other incidents that all seemed to be connected and all done by the same group of villains.
As we were slowly starting to form a group, we also found out that Justice's predecessor apparently has gone darkside and is probably behind all of this. He's planning something big to bring back "the old way" - whatever that is supposed to mean - and save mankind - whatever that is supposed to mean. Now he and his gang have cut off the city's energy and freed 700 prisoners from the state prison, which means a bit of an emergency situation all over the city. Enter Nightwing, who stopped by his old workplace, then met us and offered his help. \o/
There is a lot more to this and I haven't even told you anything about my own character WHOM I REALLY ENJOY BECAUSE SHE'S GREAT but I fear I have to save it for another post, because it's going to be a long, long rambling. XD
