We, louphoenix and I, that is, went to the Aufstiegsparty in Karlsruhe's market square to see the team and celebrate with all the other fans there. The atmosphere was fantastic, the team was absolutely cool/adorable/huggable and Maik Franz was so bloody feckin' drunk, you wouldn't believe it. XD
The team arrived with a motorcade with two or three players in one car. Of course, the car radiating the greatest party vibe was the one with Maik. He was singing and cheering and roaring and egging the crowd on like a maniac. And when they were all up on the city hall's balcony, guess who was the first toscream say something into the mic? Tehee. One wouldn't believe that Eggi's actually the captain, the way Maik behaves.
But OMG! We already knew that Maiki Franz is a complete nutter, but now it's official. I was constantly waiting for his his vocal chords to tear apart, he was screaming that loudly. (Plus, I'm quite astonished that he didn't fall off the balcony or try any stupid tricks like stage-diving into the crowd...)
Another thing became quite clear yesterday, too: Karlsruhe LOVES Maik. They ADORE him to bits and pieces and that after only one season. He's just... mwah. There aren't even words anymore to describe how effing cool this guy is. <33333
