Drifting somewhere in the vast

louphoenix and I went to see X-Men First Class together yesterday, which means that a) she's totally infected now and b) I am completely over the moon again. What can I say? Fassbender just kills me with his charisma and his pretty eyes and his fierce Magneto-movements. And ( some more squee about another detail )

Anyway, we totally agreed that X-Men First Class is the most tragic love movie of the year. Then we made up a completely logical X-Men/Harry Potter crossover in which Charles meets Dumbledore, is completely fascinated with his mutation and really wants to do research on it. Meanwhile, Magneto goes on search for Charles who has disappeared from the Muggle world, meets Professor Snape and there is an epic amount of snark. In the end, Erik would be so frustrated with Snape that he decides to never become so bitter while Charles realises he doesn't want them to end like Dumbledore and Grindelwald. And then they make up and live happily ever after in a village near Hogwarts and train little mutant babies who will fly on brooms. And play chess. See? Absolutely logical. Oh, and Tonks and Mystique get to be best friends forever. There. Now someone write this and make me happy forever, pretty please?

AND GUYS, THERE IS A MOVIE IN WHICH FASSBENDER PLAYS A SOLDIER ADOPTING A BEAR CUB AND RAISING IT. Apparently, there is some slashy subtext, too. And a fanvid that is too adorbs for words. Now I only need to get my hands on this movie, which might prove to be a bit difficult since it's a Canadian TV production. *flails helplessly*
