My human character Sarah died yesterday. Her throat got slit and there was nothing to be done. She was already halfway buried, when Noah turned up completely shocked, took her body away ... and turned her into a vampire. (In Requiem, it's possible to embrace humans post mortem.) The following scene was pretty touching (HUGE OTP!moment *flails*) *, but they are still as fucked-up and dysfunctional as ever. <3 Can you see me glee and cheer? XD My character's a vampire, at last (and Noah's Childe). Being human does have its advantages, but in a world full of vampires, it sucks to be weak and have a lower status. I'm glad it happened and that it happened this way. Even or probably just because she has become what she always hated. Welcome to your Requiem, Sarah. I'm pretty curious what will happen from now on. (Also, I think this is the first time in my life that I have a het!OTP.)

* "Why did you bring me back?"
"Do you remember what I told you about feelings? That they are but a mere echo? Well, I think I was wrong. They're there and they're confusing."
"Thank you." *kisses Noah's forehead and receives a confused look* "You meant well."

"welcome home" she said to me
"let's hide away before they see. i need
so much to be alone with you, i do"
"come with me" she took my hand
"please try to help me understand"
so pointless when my heart has
turned to stone, i know
~i wish i didn't need you now~
"i wish we could" she whispered near
"go someplace far away from here."
while hoping that small voice would
disappear that said "welcome to the
end"
