Looking for fic.

ayascytheSo. I'm looking for fic. For a very special kind of fic of which I'm not even sure if it exists.
After having watched the "Roadkill" episode, I have some sort of weird fic idea swimming around in my head. Especially with having certain dialogue lines of "In my time of dying" still in the back of my mind which go as follows:
Tessa: Well like you said there's always a choice. I can't make you come with me, but you're not getting back in your body and that's just facts. So yes, you can stay, you'll stay here for years disembodied, scared, and over the decades it'll probably drive you mad. Maybe you'll even get violent.
Dean: What are you saying?
Tessa: Dean, how do you think angry spirits are born? They can't let go, they can't move on, and you're about to become one. The very thing you hunt.
So. So. Is there AU fic that actually take on that set-up? Dean choosing to stay in the mortal world as a spirit (under the premise of John not bargaining his life for Dean's, of course)? And maybe Sammy having to hunt him/trying to bring Dean at rest? Or maybe some other set-up in which one of the Winchester brothers has become a restless spirit?
Because, damn, I'm itching to read something like that. And call me lazy or something, but I don't want to look through all those SPN fics out there in the hopes of maybe finding something.
